When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you upload files for transcription we temporarily store those files on secure cloud storage (AWS S3). We do not share your files with third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the transcription service — including processing your order, delivering your transcript, and sending you service emails. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
3. File Storage & Retention
Uploaded audio and video files are stored securely during processing. Files are deleted from our servers within 30 days of transcript delivery. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.
4. Cookies
We use minimal cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to your files is restricted to authorised personnel only.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@scriptring.com and we will respond within 72 hours.
